Abstract |
In the broader context of mathematics education for biologists, we describe a course
on mathematical modeling that we recently designed and ran for an audience comprising
of research biologists. We describe how the audience responded to the course and their
feedback at the end of the course. We discuss how math-phobia of this type of audience
may be fruitfully dealt with.
