Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post/s at the Department of Scientific Computing Modeling & Simulation (SCMS), Savitribai Phule Pune University: One (1) Junior Research Fellow, (reservation DT-A) funded by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Appointment will be made as per availability of suitable candidate for the respective post.

• Eligibility: BE, BTech, MTech or MSc (preferably in Modeling & Simulation, Scientific Computing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engg.) with strong background in computation and experience in:
  • advanced machine learning techniques including but not limited to convolution neural network, deep learning, transfer learning, etc.;
  • OpenCV and/or equivalent tools; and
  • Python/R programming.
• Desirable : Research experience in deep neural network and GPU based computing.

Emoluments

• For NET/GATE qualified candidate: Rs 31000/- per month plus HRA as applicable
• For other candidate: Rs 26400/- per month plus HRA as applicable
