Dr Ajay Limaye works as Visualization Programer at Australian National University. His areas of interest and expertise include Computer Graphics, Condensed Matter Physics, Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Computational Physics Tomography, Imaging, 3D-Imaging, Computed Tomography, X-ray Computed Tomography, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Imaging, Medical and Biomedical Image Processing, Medical Image Analysis, etc. He holds a PhD in Scientific Computing from the Interdisciplinary School of Scientific Computing, SPPU. He is well-known for his visualization tool called DRISHTI.

Abstract DRISHTI is an open-source 3D volume exploration and presentation software used for visualizing computed tomography (CT) data from a range of techniques such as X-ray CT, SEM, CLSM. In this talk, the speaker will present a walk-through on various application areas where DRISHTI is being used for visualization.
