Applications are invited for one (1) Project Assistant funded by DST-INDIA, at the Department of Scientific Computing Modeling & Simulation, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Appointment will be made as per availability of suitable candidates for the respective post.

• Eligibility & Necessary Qualification: BE, BTech, MTech or MSc (preferably in Modeling & Simulation, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science) with experience in computational problems. The candiate must be expert in Python programming language. Knowledge of Fortran/C/C++, Network science, Statistical Physics, and Graph algorithms is a plus.
• Work Description: The project is concerned about studying models of resource dependencies in complex networks using resources generated via Gaussian and Pareto distributions, theoretically and computationally. The candidate is expected to develop scripts to use an already developed package, run large-scale simulations, plot and interpret the results, and help the project PI with other project related work.
