Overall experience

I was at CMS for the summer of 2016 and briefly in the summer of 2017. The learning environment is great for someone who wants to pick up new things. There are students working / studying in the labs which creates a healthy mix of fun and learning.

Impact on career and growth

Yes , surely. And in a very positive way. I picked up R and basics of machine learning during my time there which helped me participate in different online hackathons which in turn increased my knowledge.

Which direction should CMS grow in?

Create a little more awareness about the program. I don't think a lot of people know about it.
